12 Nonwhites Arrested in Latest UK Terror Sweep

Three more females have been arrested by British anti-terror police in ongoing operations since the Westminster Bridge car-ramming attack, bringing the total number of nonwhites arrested in Muslim terrorist plots to twelve in a week.

The latest arrests were carried out in an operation linked to a raid on a house in north London last week that saw a woman shot and injured.

The latest suspects, two aged 18 and one aged 19, were detained after raids by the Metropolitan Police Counter-Terrorism Command in east London on Monday.

They are being questioned at a police station outside London on suspicion of the commission, preparation, and instigation of terrorist acts.

London police said the arrests were part of an “ongoing intelligence-led operation” linked to a similar raid last Thursday in Harlesden Road, north London, when a 21-year-old woman was shot by armed police.

She was discharged from the hospital on Sunday afternoon and arrested by police on suspicion of the commission, preparation, or instigation of acts of terrorism.

Six others were detained following Thursday’s counter-terror raid, including a 16-year-old. Police also detained a 27-year-old Muslim last Thursday in what was described as a “targeted and intelligence-led arrest.”

A bag of knives was found near him just a short walk from Downing Street and the House of Parliament.

In March, Khalid Masood killed five people after he drove a car at pedestrians on Westminster Bridge, and stabbed a police officer outside the houses of Parliament in London.
