Israeli defence minister Avigdor Lieberman has announced on Twitter that his government will build another 3,900 houses—reserved for Jews only—in the illegal Jewish settlements in the occupied Palestinian West Bank, with the aim of seizing that entire region.
Obviously emboldened by the unwavering support to Israel from the right wing Jewish lobby-controlled Trump administration, Lieberman announced on Twitter that “next week we will bring about before the High Planning Council in Judea and Samaria [the Jewish name for the West Bank] a plan to approve the construction of 2500 new housing units, and an immediate construction of a further 1,400 units.
“ We will promote construction all over Judea and Samaria, from north to south, in small and large settlements. We will continue to settle and develop Judea and Samaria, in parts,” Lieberman added.
At least 700,000 Jews already live in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, areas that are also home to more than 2.6 million Palestinians.
All the settlements are illegal under international law, but this has never stopped the building of the racially-segregated Jews-only settlements—structures which are supported by the Jewish lobbies in the rest of the world, even though they are the first to violently object to any European efforts to maintain European identity separate from Jews.
According to a report in the Times of Israel, Lieberman said that among the plans slated to be approved are projects for 400 homes in Ariel, 460 homes in Ma’aleh Adumim, a 250-unit assisted living center in Elkana, 180 in Talmon, 170 in Neve Daniel, 160 in Kfar Etzion, 150 in Kiryat Arba, 130 in Avnei Hefetz, 130 in Tene Omarim, 80 in Hinanit, 60 in Halamish, 45 in Ma’ale Efraim and 40 in Avnei Hafetz. The sites of the other 245 homes were not specified.
Needless to say, the Jewish-lobby controlled media in the west will either ignore the new settlements, or, if they do cover the news, will ignore the fact that the housing is for Jews only, as this would reveal Jewish hypocrisy of matters of racial segregation.
The ongoing settlements also provide an understanding of what drives the ongoing Palestinian resistance—another fact which is ignored by the controlled media.
