The recent “March for our lives” protests held across the US ignore the fact that at least 70 percent of all those arrested for murder in the US are nonwhite, and that black criminal gun violence is by far the biggest cause of all shootings in that country.
According to that report, a grand total of 9,374 people were arrested for “murder and nonnegligent manslaughter” in the US during 2016.
The FBI table then goes on to break up the arrestees by race, using the usual deliberate ploy of adding in all Hispanic numbers to their “white” category (thereby maliciously overinflating the white arrest rate).
According to this manner of counting, the FBI statistics claim that of the 9,374 arrestees, “whites” made up 4,192, blacks 4,935, American Indians or Alaska Natives 108, Asians 109, and Native Hawaiians or Other Pacific Islanders 30.
However, the FBI does allow a way of estimating the actual number of white arrestees, even if it is only an estimation. In another column on table 21, it classes the arrestees by what it calls “ethnicity,” saying that of the 9,374 total, 5,508 were “Not Hispanic or Latino,” and 1,374 were “Hispanic or Latino.”
Working on the FBI’s own “logic” that the “Hispanic or Latino” group has been added to their “white” totals, the number of white arrestees can therefore be estimated at 2,818 (that is, 4,192 less 1,374).
From this it is clear that the actual number of “white” arrestees for murder is of the order of 30 percent of the total.
In reality, the actual number of white arrestees will be even less—because the FBI and the Federal government does not have properly defined racial classifications, classing all North Africans, Arabs, Middle Easterners and even Indians from the Indian subcontinent as “Caucasian” or “white” for their statistical purposes.
This means that many arrestees included in the lower “white” figures will not be white at all, and this the genuine white arrest rate for murder is likely to be well below 30 percent.
This fact has great bearing when it is considered that at least 36,000 people are murdered by gun violence in America every year (a figure which is steadily increasing) and that every day, gun violence causes 90 deaths and 200 injuries.
Furthermore, twenty percent of all firearm homicides in the US occur in the country’s 25 largest cities, even though they contain just over one-tenth of the US population.
Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show that of the 12,979 firearm homicides in 2015, 81 percent occurred in urban areas.
The facts are clear and obvious: nonwhites, and blacks in particular, are the cause of the gun violence which plagues America, and which is steadily turning that nation’s urban areas into bloodbaths.
Yet, despite this obvious racial fact, the “march for our lives” liberals dream on, somehow believing that “guns” are cause, instead of the racial underpinning of violent crime in America.
Until that reality is understood, accepted, and societal structure changed to take racial disparities in crime rates into account, all the marches in the world are not going to change anything.
