Barack Obama’s decision to arm “Syrian” rebels forms part of a larger geo-political strategy to sow discord and division among those Muslim nations who actively oppose the Zionist state of Israel—even if it means arming extremist Islamist terrorist groups.
The decision to arm the Syrian “freedom fighters” is made even more absurd by a new German intelligence report which revealed that 95 percent of the rebel fighters are actually foreigners affiliated with the most violent and extreme Al-Qaeda Islamist groups in the Middle East.
According to a report in the German Die Welt, only 5 percent of the armed terrorists in the so-called Free Army are Syrians, while 95 percent of them are extremist groups which came from several African countries to jihad in Syria backed by the Gulf and Arab countries.
The daily quoted intelligence experts in Germany as saying: “The German intelligence has an official and detailed account of the nationalities of the rebels in Syria and their locations in the country.”
A member of the German intelligence said that some terrorist groups in Syria work in full coordination with al-Qaeda, but the extremist groups are more dangerous than al-Qaeda since they commit genocide against children and women and use them as human shields to achieve the biggest possible number of casualties.
According to semi-official statistics, the number of gunmen in Syria is estimated at 14,800 including experts in many fields such as the preparation of improvised explosive devices. Most of those gunmen previously participated in several attacks in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The Al-Nusra Front or Jabhat al-Nusra (“Front of Defence for the People of Greater Syria”) is the largest single group fighting the Assad regime, and is an open Al Qaida group, formed in January 2012 with the express purpose of overthrowing the moderately secular Syrian regime.
It is widely regarded as the “the most aggressive and successful arm of the rebel force” and has already been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S. Government—yet it is these very same “freedom fighters” that the Obama regime now seeks to arm.
Below is a video of an “action” by Al-Nusra Front fighters, in which they execute a number of captured soldiers—American taxpayers will be happy to know that these are the sort of people to whom their “foreign aid” will now be going.
According to veteran Middle East journalist and analyst Franklin Lamb, the real reason for the US intervention has been significant advances made by the Assad military forces against the “rebels” in recent weeks, and the Syrian army’s victory at al-Qusayr in particular.
“This was more than the administration could accept given that town’s strategic position in the region. Its capture by the Assad forces has essentially added Syria to Iran’s list of victories starting with Afghanistan, Lebanon, Iraq, as well as its growing influence in the Gulf,” Franklin wrote.
In other words, the real reason for the decision to arm the “rebels” has nothing to do with “human rights” or “democracy” but is merely part of a larger geo-political plan to protect Israel from a coalition of strong, unified opponents.
It seems that the White House, or rather its real controllers in the Jewish lobby, would rather see chaos and division in Syria than a stable government capable of launching and maintaining a strong anti-Zionist presence and campaign near Israel.
This was the same rationale for the attack on Iraq, and forms part of a larger campaign against Iran as well (the Assad government is an ally of the Iranians) and, just as in Iraq, it serves the Zionist state well to have a situation of chaos and division among its neighbors.
The reason given for the aid to the rebels—that Syria has used poison gas—is most likely yet another lie from the same people who provided the world with the Iraqi ‘Weapons of Mass Destruction” lies, and has been formally denied by Syria.
The Syrian Foreign Ministry branded the US statements on the use of chemical weapons a “caravan of lies.”
“The United States, in resorting to a shameful use of pretexts in order allow President Obama’s decision to arm the Syrian opposition, shows that it has flagrant double standards in the way it deals with terrorism,” it said.
Syria had insisted in the past that it did not use its chemical arsenal in the ongoing conflict and would not do so unless invaded by a foreign nation.
Obama has authorized the release of at least some US arms for Syria’s rebels as part of new military and political aid measures.
The Russians have already dismissed the “evidence” of “Syrian chemical attacks” as claimed by the Obama regime. The report was dismissed as a “fabrication” by Alexei Pushkov, head of the Russian lower house of parliament’s international affairs committee.
“Information about the usage of chemical weapons by [Syrian President Bashar] Assad is fabricated in the same way as the lie about [Saddam] Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction [in Iraq],” Pushkov said on his Twitter account.
