The latest terrorist attacks in Thailand—which saw eleven bombs detonated in an 18-hour period—deliberately targeted areas where white western tourists made up large numbers of passersby.
The attacks are but the latest in an ongoing worldwide terrorist war directed against white people, and driven primarily by Islamist fundamentalists.
According to initial media reports, tourist destinations had bombs hidden in plant pots and flower beds detonated by mobile phones.
People fled in terror as the first two blasts hit the seaside resort of Hua Hin overnight, killing two people and wounding 21 others. At least nine of the wounded are Europeans, with Dutch, Austrian, German, British, and Italian nationals being affected.
The bombs targeted a busy street filled with bars and restaurants. The town was also hit by small explosions on Friday morning.
Hours later two small bombs were detonated in the beach town Patong, Phuket, another area popular with foreign tourists.
Thai police and media have also reported similar strikes in the southern regions of Thailand which killed one person in Surat Thani and another in Trang, with both used as stop-off points for many visitors travelling on to the country’s islands.
The U.S. Embassy in Thailand has warned its citizens that “travelers to the area should avoid the affected areas, review your personal security plans; maintain a high level of vigilance and take appropriate steps to enhance your personal security.”
The British embassy in Thailand has updated travel advice urging tourists to exercise “extreme caution” and avoid public places.
“The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advise against all but essential travel to the provinces of Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, and Songkhla on the Thai-Malaysia border,” an announcement on the UK’s government website has said.
“You should exercise extreme caution, avoid public places, and follow the advice of local authorities.”
Although the Thai police and the controlled media have been quick to claim that the attacks are not linked to Islam, the reality is that almost all the violence has taken place in the country’s three southernmost provinces—where the Muslim separatist insurgency has killed more than 6,500 people since 2004 as militant Jihadis have waged war against all non-Muslims in the region.
In fact, the UK government’s own terrorism alert for travelers’ to Thailand website says quite clearly that “westerners” are being targeted and that:
There is considered to be a heightened threat of terrorist attack globally against UK interests and British nationals, from groups or individuals motivated by the conflict in Iraq and Syria. You should be vigilant at this time.
In other words, the UK government has already openly admitted that the illegal, immoral, and unjustified wars in Iraq and Syria are primarily responsible for the upsurge in attacks upon white people across the globe.
