The Meaning of Brexit

By Gilad Atzmon. Whatever the British people decide about the EU the people who dwell on this island have been pushed to think patriotically and nationalistically. The decision each of us make to vote for ‘remain’ or for ‘leave’ will be based on the realization that this political decision will have a significant personal impact.

Party Politics is a Severe Form of Detachment

Both major parties failed to assess the huge appeal of the ‘call to leave.’ This blindness proves that the estrangement between the British political universe and the public is complete. This shouldn’t be much of a surprise. Many of the Britain’s political leaders are public school graduates. They are foreign to the experience of most of the British people.

Big Money and the ‘Left’ are United

The right wing capitalist Tories and the so-called ‘Left’ (Labour) support the remain campaign. How is it possible that the ‘Right’ and the ‘Left’ or shall we say, money and labour, support the same campaign or seemingly the same goal? Simple, the dichotomy between Left and Right is a myth. Both parties are funded by the same lobbies and serve the same interests. Both parties are supported by big money. Both parties are committed to consumerism rather than production. Both parties are tied with Jewish lobby groups and are attached to a Zio-con global agenda.

Cognitive Partitioning

There is a big education gap between the leave and the remain supporters. The polls suggest that people with university degrees are keener on staying in the EU than are those who left school at 15 or 16. This reading agrees with the findings of the 1990’s era book, The Bell Curve (Herrnstein & Murray). Our political decisions are based on cognitive ability rather than on wealth, class or party affiliation. Those who are less educated and dependent on demand for manual work and manufacturing are less likely to trust the EU because they see the EU as a threat to their jobs. Those who are educated are more likely to see opportunity within a vast market.

The End of Correctness

For the last four decades we have been bombarded with the message that nationalism is bad, immigration is good, multiculturalism is the future, political correctness is progress and patriotism is reactionary. Opponents of immigration were ‘bigots’ and those who expressed loyalty to the flag were marginal far right racists. While apparently many wanted to believe nationalism and patriotism were dying, it is now obvious that patriotism is alive; vibrant and kicking.  Once an outlet was set for people to express their patriotism, we quickly discovered that at least half of the Brits do not buy into the tyranny of correctness. Belonging and patriotism is engraved within the human condition: its suppression can only be temporary.

The EU Kept Its Promise

The EU was a Babylonian dream. It vowed to mix the people of Europe beyond recognition and to prevent Europeans from killing each other. The EU kept its promise, for decades Europeans haven’t been killing each other, they kill Arabs instead and on a massive scale. I wonder, if Brits decide to leave the EU, does it also mean that we will emancipate ourselves from the neo-imperial agenda that took our army into Iraq, Syria and Libya?

  1. Quite right. There are only marginal differences between Left and Right. Right instinctively will conserve and help the rich members of their ‘Club’. whereas, the Left will spend all the money like there is no more (and they often reach that point!). As regards the background to the political animal, neither has many of the, “public school graduates” any experience of starting and managing a business. They also love the dynasties such as the Kinnock tribe which leads to the public’s view that they are all of the ‘Gravy Train’. But, believe me as one who has experience of trying to change/update corrupted and out-of-date legislation, once they dig their heels in, having formed an opinion on some issue, it is impossible to convert them to another view contrary to their commercial lobbyists position on the same matter. There is no doubt in my mind that Democracy is a thin veneer for the tourist: once you scrape below this thin veneer, there is absolutely nothing there apart from greed.

  3. Having been born and brought up in a small mining village in the heart of the South Wales coalfields, I was fortunate in that I passed my 11+ which meant that I was educated at the local grammar school rather than the secondary modern one. Due to not being capable of obtaining the number of passes that many others had and the lack of local work apart from mining, I enlisted in the Forces, and left after 9 years. There was not the media coverage for the 1975 referendum to join the Common Market that there has been for this one, and without doubt, the calibre of politicians has dropped massively, even though past politicians were no less devious. Consequently, being of that generation and having served my Queen and Country, I resent being sub-servient to any outside interference from a bunch of un-elected bureaucrats that deem they understand the needs of residents across the whole of Europe, including the countries trying to become part of this corrupt organisation. The level of debts and unemployment in several EU countries proves that their grand idea is not working BUT as dictatorship is the name of the game, they are hardly likely to change and senior people have even said that nothing will ever change from their totalitarian dream. My hope today is that we vote to leave, but if we don’t, then the future generations will be picking up the pieces of the rotten financial incompetence of the EU for the rest of their lives, and the UK will lose its identity in 30 years or so.

  5. I was so surprised to read the author’s comment that Europeans “kill Arabs instead on a massive scale”, without mentioning that the Muslim Invaders welcomed with open arms by our (((politicians))) have been killing and gang-raping European women & children on a massive scale.

How strange that the author chose to completely ignore this part of the notorious Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan for the Stealth Genocide Against European Peoples.

  6. The right wing capitalist Tories and the so-called ‘Left’ (Labour) support the remain campaign. The Tories are rich lefty scum, no different from Labour, treating the plebs like dirt. They are all in it for the money! If they were right wing, they would have told the voters to leave the EU!

    1. Correct. LibLabCon are all the same. Everyone has known this for years. New information (for me at least) is the influence of Jewish lobby groups as well as individual Jews such as Soros, Sutherland, Merkel (allegedly) and even Cameron.

  7. Oops, my comment hasn’t appeared so I shall repeat it: the (Jewish, I understand) author, Mr Atxmon, asserts that “Europeans… kill Arabs … on a massive scale. ” I wonder what facts he means? Which Europeans and where allegedly kill Arabs on a massive scale?

Did you miss the French and British attack on Libya perhaps?

  8. The author states: “The EU was a Babylonian dream. It vowed to mix the people of Europe beyond recognition…” Why the EU was allegedly a Babylonian dream? And where did the EU allegedly vow to mix the people of Europe beyond recognition? In fact, the unification of European peoples seems necessary if Europe is not simply to perish. This was understood in Europe decades before the EU came into being. Yet the official policy of uniting Europeans has for decades been countered by a simultaneous, clandestine or semi-clandestine, policy of pushing into Europe masses from the Third World. It seems in order to prevent the very unification of Europeans themselves, especially those from the “East” with those from the “West.” Such a united all-European Europe, under the natural German leadership, would be a dangerous competition to the US and its allies. Particularly Britain. Wouldn’t it? But the main reason for bringing those masses in is that a certain nation spread all over Europe dislikes living in an all-European environment and prefers to live in a “multicultural” one, don’t they?
