Faced with the unpalatable truth that the majority of pupils in the “gifted” class of its enrolment were white—and the “rest” of the student body are nonwhite—a Brooklyn school has taken the logical step of enforcing “diversity” by abolishing the gifted class.
According to a letter sent out by Principal Mary McDonald from Public School 139 in Ditmas Park, New York, parents were informed that the elementary school would no longer accept kindergartners’ applications for the Students of Academic Rigor (SOAR) program.
Furthermore, the letter said, future classes will be “heterogeneously grouped” to make sure the white kids are swamped by the nonwhites.
Citing a “lack of diversity,” McDonald informed parents that the SOAR program and two other in-house programs would no longer accept applications for incoming kindergartners.
“Our Kindergarten classes will be heterogeneously grouped to reflect the diversity of our student body and the community we live in,” McDonald told parents.
More than two thirds of the school’s roughly 1,000 students are black or Hispanic while Asians and white students made up 28 percent of the student body, according to official records.
McDonald told a group of parents that the school’s current enrollment policies for those programs “have created inequity.
“Both programs have a heavy overrepresentation of students living above the poverty line, a disparity that has been growing each year,” she said.
Of the 12 or 13 percent of the school’s current kindergarten class that does not qualify for free or reduced price lunch, just one student is not in one of the school’s special programs, according to McDonald.
In reality, the SOAR program is being withdrawn because it has once again highlighted the biologically-determined reality that European-origin and Asian people have higher IQs than other races, and therefore always academically perform better than blacks or other nonwhites.
The continued denial of this simple fact leads to the madness now seen at PS 139—where liberals will actively discriminate against higher IQ children in the name of “diversity” and “equality.”
